Apprenticeship & Opportunities at AWE Nuclear Security Technologies For Parents & Students
Are you a student in Year 10 or Year 12 interested in STEM, Engineering, Project Management? Do you live in Reading, Thames Valley or Berkshire?
For more than 70 years, AWE Nuclear Security Technologies has supported the UK Government’s nuclear defence strategy and the Continuous At Sea Deterrent. They also use their nuclear know-how and technical expertise to provide innovative solutions that support the UK’s counter-terrorism and nuclear threat reduction activities. They aim to build enduring relationships with government customers, international partners, suppliers and communities in the locations where they operate.
This session is designed to provide both students and parents with a comprehensive understanding of AWE’s apprenticeship opportunities. Our aim is to ensure everyone leaves with a clear awareness of the apprenticeship opportunities available and the knowledge needed to support students as they prepare for roles opening in 2025/26.
The event will feature an overview of AWE’s apprenticeship programme, highlighting the various roles, levels, and benefits on offer. Attendees will also gain insight into the qualifications required and how these apprenticeships can shape future career paths.
A Q&A panel with current apprentices will offer first-hand perspectives and advice, providing an invaluable opportunity to ask questions and learn from those already thriving at AWE.
This is a unique chance for both students and parents to explore what AWE has to offer and to have any queries addressed before applications open.
Join us and take the first step toward an exciting future with AWE!
