For more than 70 years, AWE Nuclear Security Technologies has supported the UK Government’s nuclear defence strategy and the Continuous At Sea Deterrent. They also use their nuclear know-how and technical expertise to provide innovative solutions that support the UK’s counter-terrorism and nuclear threat reduction activities. They aim to build enduring relationships with government customers, international partners, suppliers and communities in the locations where they operate.

Join us for this taster day designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of AWE Nuclear Security Technologies’ apprenticeship opportunities and how they can shape future career paths.

Our aim is to ensure all attendees leave with a clear awareness of the apprenticeship roles opening in 2025/26 and the qualifications required to succeed.

The day will feature an overview of AWE’s apprenticeship programme, highlighting the diverse roles, levels, and benefits available. Students will also gain insight into the representation of AWE’s Skills Academy, which plays a pivotal role in equipping apprentices with the skills and experience needed to thrive in their careers.

A Q&A panel with current apprentices will offer first-hand perspectives and advice, providing an invaluable opportunity to ask questions and learn from those already thriving at AWE.
