Women into Home Building – Information Session
The Women into Home Building programme is part of a broader industry effort to increase female participation in construction. In 2023, women comprised 10.8% of the construction workforce, up from 9.3% in 2002.
However, women still represent only about 4% of on-site construction and maintenance roles, highlighting the need for initiatives like this to encourage more women to pursue careers in these high-demand areas.
The Information Session is an opportunity to for eligible women who have already applied to the home building programme to:
- Find out more about the programme from Pathway CTM.
- Hear industry insights from different employers.
- Find out more about Site Managers and ask any questions they may have.
- Providing women with industry insights so they grow familiar with companies and the nature of home building.
