Thames Valley region is excited to bring together a host of resources specific to students with SEND. Joining you on this webinar are:

Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities requires an unique and individual approach. These resources will help you support delivery of work-related learning and achieve the Gatsby Benchmarks. (Keerin)

9.35am National CEC Resources

Launched this year, the CEC’s Resources Directory contains a wealth of resources, activities and teacher guides. We’ll showcase the best SEND-specific resources for use in the classroom and beyond. (Keerin)

9.45am CEC My Skills My Future

SEND specialists Talentino, along with employer partners across the CEC network have created a suite of resources to help deliver careers education to students with SEND. The My Skills My Future programme contains a series of lesson plans, employer project briefs, video content and resources to support young people with SEND across all settings showcasing the different pathways available. 9.55am SEMLEP videos and Employer disability e-learning guides

A series of videos exploring different work sectors including logistics, retail and hospitality and digital, along with various e-learning guides for businesses, explaining disabilities and learning difficulties and the support available for both businesses and individuals to promote successful recruitment and employment. 10.10am Berkshire LEP work environments videos

Five films focussing on supporting students with SEND to understand different working environments. Sectors covered are Construction, Digi tech, Health and Social Care, Business and Finance working and Warehouse & Logistics. (Sue)
