Description

The Lloyds Banking Group Commercial Banking Finance Valuation Control Apprenticeship is the ideal opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to kick-start their career and gain a professional qualification at the same time.

About the programme:
Starting in September 2023, you’ll spend four years rotating through their key teams in Finance Valuation Control, providing you with an opportunity to understand how the team and the bank works. You’ll be assigned a programme-specific manager who will provide support throughout your journey.

Finance Valuation Control is based in Commercial Banking Finance and supports across Commercial Banking, Insurance and Group Corporate Treasury (GCT), by ensuring that balance sheet valuations are accurate, controlled and understood.

You will be working at the heart of the organisation, gaining insight into how the banking and insurance industries operate. Although there are lots of numbers, Finance isn’t all spreadsheets. You will be learning how to tackle and explain complex problems while communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Whether it is coordinating new projects or discussing results with their traders, there is always plenty to get involved in.

By the end of this programme, you’ll have a clear path for progression within Finance Valuation Control and also across the broader Lloyds Banking Group and a firm understanding of your strengths and career goals. They’ll also support you in achieving the Level 7 CIMA qualification, which will deepen your understanding of finance and means you’ll end the scheme as a fully qualified management accountant.
