We’re looking for people who put customers first, and care about the experience they have with us. In this role, you’ll be supporting some of our many government customers who use our security products, so you’ll be at the cutting edge of technology.  

When you join us, we’ll teach you all about our different services, so you’re really prepared to provide a tailored support service to our customers, so you can help pick the right solution for them. Of course, working with customers isn’t always straightforward, and so when things haven’t gone according to plan, you’ll learn to use your judgement and make the right calls for both customers and BT, and when you’ve made a promise to a customer, you’ll always stick to your word.  

About the apprenticeship you’ll study for.  

As Customer Service Specialist, you’ll study for a Level 2 apprenticeship called Customer Service Practitioner.   

  • Your apprenticeship will run for 18 months 
  • You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying. You’ll need to complete one “study work” day a week.  

Completion of this apprenticeship will also make you eligible to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional Level. 

 Entry Requirements 

No formal qualifications are required to join our Apprentice Customer Service Practitioner Level 3 programme, however a good level of literacy and numeracy would be a distinct advantage. Due to the sensitive nature of some of our roles, you may be required to undergo Security Clearance. Don’t worry, our Early Careers teams will talk you through this if needed.
