The Met Office is recruiting for 1, Level 4 Data Analyst apprentice in Exeter.

As our Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.

As our Apprentice Data Analyst you will become proficient in:
Collecting and organising corporate business data from multiple Met Office sources to provide insight.
Apply knowledge of tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools).
Manipulate and link different data sets, summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users.
Collate and analyse requirements from multiple stakeholders to propose, deliver and maintain useful and timely Management ‘Dashboards & Reports’ to support business decisions.  (Better together)
Act as a Data Steward by managing and understanding the DataVerse database and ensure integrity of data for both reporting and GDPR/Data Protection purposes (Keep evolving)
Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills. (Live and breathe it).

You will have 5 GCSEs plus a Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc) OR equivalent work experience.
