We’ll bet you didn’t think that analysing data had a big place in Communications, right? Well - you’d be wrong. We love data and we love analysing it, learning from it and sharing the story it tells. We make decisions on well-understood data that improves not only what we do as a business, but also what we offer to our customers.
And we don’t just collect information. We analyse it and try to spot trends, identify patterns, or find customer ‘needs’ within it that helps us make good decisions for our customers and our business.
Throughout your apprenticeship, your role will be to support the Data team and assure the quality and availability of data to the business. You’ll be there to ensure our data jobs run smoothly and efficiently and driving automation wherever we can. On top of that, you’ll collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. We’ll get you involved in managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data. Working across a variety of projects, you’ll help to provide technical data solutions to a range of stakeholders about customers issues. You’ll document and report the results of data analysis activities & ultimately make recommendations to improve business performance.
About the apprenticeship you’ll study for.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll study for a Level 4 apprenticeship, called Data Analyst.
Your apprenticeship scheme will last for 2 years and 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to studying.
You’ll need to achieve a minimum of two A-Levels with a minimum of CC grades. You’ll also need five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths.
Equivalent qualifications are accepted.
