Our apprentices do real work from day one. In this role, you’ll be joining our Digital Solutions team, doing a pretty important job. You’ll be delivering IT infrastructure that is critical to the UK; how’s that for a real job?
It’s a really varied role; you’ll be learning about and working with lots of different technologies, and helping to create an end to end solution that transform our customers IT experience. It’ll mean working with lots of different experts, such as Network Architects, Designers, Platform Managers, Engineers, Programme Managers and senior stakeholders….and everyone in between. Your job will be to bring all these people together and help deliver an amazing solution.
Working as a Technical Delivery professional you’ll have a great opportunity to learn about complex IT solutions and the technologies that underpin them. Our colleagues are all experts at what they do, and you’ll be able to gain huge amounts of experience from them in different areas. You’ll also learn about working to Agile delivery techniques - such as scrum and squads – and how this helps drive solutions forward.
About the apprenticeship you’ll study for.
As an Apprentice IT Infrastructure Professional, you’ll study for a Level 6 apprenticeship in Digital & Technology Solutions. This is an apprenticeship degree course, meaning if you complete the course successfully, you’ll receive a degree from one of our university partners.
- The degree course runs for four years and is a work-based learning degree.
- You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need to achieve three A-Levels with a minimum of AAB grades, with at least one in a STEM subject. You’ll also need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted.
