The full- or part-time apprenticeship role is to support and develop the use of digital media to promote the academy and Highdown Sport and Leisure and support their marketing, for example through increased social media presence.

Main Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain our academy website
– Develop social media presence across multiple platforms for the academy and HSL
– Liaise with staff and student leadership for regular content updates
– Take photographs at key school events and of new staff/Sixth Form students
– Create and publish digital newsletters to parents/carers
– What we are looking for:

Skills required:

– Working knowledge of social media platforms
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
– A knowledge of HTML programming is an advantage
– Personal characteristics:

Entry requirements:

3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
