They are a key part of Royal Mail and we need keen and bright individuals looking to start their Finance careers to help us continue supporting the business, drive process improvements and deliver results.

About the role

On the programme, you’ll learn about all aspects of managing Royal Mail’s ‘finances’. From accounts receivable to accounts payable, to data and reporting, you’ll gain a broad range of experience at a FTSE 250 organisation while you study towards the industry-recognised AAT qualifications and accounting apprenticeship standards. We’ll give you the opportunities to put that theory into practice. It’s the perfect start to a career in finance.

You could be working with the award-winning Accounts Receivable team, interacting directly with customers and setting up accounts, or in the Accounts Payable team, dealing with suppliers on a variety of payment processes.

You could also be delivering results through data management, financial and business reporting, or process improvements through the use of technology. Wherever you are, your work will be varied, challenging and will have a real impact on what we do. We will give you exposure across finance, supporting you in developing a professional network, with the theoretical and practical foundation for a successful career.

Additionally, you will have an eye for process improvements and streamlining ways of working with the drive to bring these improvements into the workplace.
