Description

The Lloyds Banking Group Finance Apprenticeship is the ideal opportunity for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to get started with their career and gain a professional qualification at the same time.

About the programme:
Starting in September 2023, they’ll support your study for a fully funded professional qualification – Professional Accounting Technician (ACCA) Level 4 Apprenticeship. They’ll also support you in achieving the Level 7 ACCA qualification, which will deepen your understanding of finance and mean you’ll end the scheme as a fully qualified accountant – a combined study time of around 4/5 years.

Group Finance is a business function that plays a vital role in keeping Lloyds Banking Group safe, successful and sustainable while supporting the Group’s vision to be the best bank for customers. They manage all aspects of finance for the group, enabling the business to make better financial decisions.

Banking is a risky business – in finance they quantify risk using analytical techniques and modelling software and they explain it in plain English to key decision makers. They are also responsible for meeting their statutory and regulatory requirements. That’s quite a responsibility, given that they’re one of Britain’s largest banks and the largest provider of digital financial products in the UK.

Entry requirements:
They expect you to be motivated, ambitious and committed to your own development. In particular, you’ll be keen to get to grips with financial systems and processes.
Minimum 5 GCSEs Grades 4 -9 (inc. Maths at minimum B or Level 5 and English Language).

Locations: Edinburgh, Leeds, Bristol
