About the programme

We are recruiting for an incredibly exciting Business Support Analyst Apprentice within our CAO, Global Risk & Compliance team which, for the right candidates, is a fast track pathway to a long and varied career within the Business Management space. This is an Apprenticeship opportunity which will see the successful candidates join on an 18-month Level 3 Apprenticeship programme, all fully funded by HSBC.

This permanent, entry level role will give you exposure to a wide variety of different teams within Risk & Compliance, designed to build your understanding of Risk & Compliance in general. This role will support and work with the Risk & Compliance CAO team to understand the end to end network of stakeholders that we connect with regularly and ensuring we have a cohesive understanding of the standardized processes, practices and deliverables to ensure that the Risk & Compliance global function operates much more efficiently and effectively.

This will give you the opportunity to get hands on experience of projects and business management work early on, initially looking to ensure we are living and breathing the values which are central to us as an organisation. You will be supported throughout your entire journey, with a mixture of classroom learning, independent study and on the job training designed to build your foundations for a successful career within the HSBC group.

Minimum Requirements 

This is an entry level role and the focus of the jobholder will be to learn all skills required to grow their career in Risk & Compliance. Full support will be provided, but to be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 3/E or above (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
