About the programme 

The Group Regulatory Conduct (RC) Capability is a team within Compliance and is responsible for providing specialist SME knowledge; setting global policies, standards and risk appetite; designing frameworks, processes and tooling; and consolidating Group level risk oversight, challenge and reporting activities to Risk Stewards.

This is an exciting new opportunity within our Regulatory Conduct team which, for the right candidates, is a fast track pathway to a long and varied career within the Compliance function. This is a permanent role, with an opportunity to obtain a professional qualification. The successful candidate will join on an 18-month Level 3 Apprenticeship programme. You will be supported throughout your entire journey, with a mixture of classroom learning, independent study and on the job training designed to build your foundations for a successful career within the HSBC Group.

Minimum Requirements

This is an entry level role and the focus of the jobholder will be to learn all skills required to grow their career in Regulatory Conduct function. Full support will be provided, but to be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 3/E or above (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.

  • Being highly proactive and effectively managing your own time
  • Being an effective networker with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
