The Group (Parkwood Holdings) is made up of a group of companies that are leading providers of support services to public and private sector clients. The Group employs over 4,500 people throughout the UK providing services which including leisure management, green space management, and healthcare.
The company have had a successful year which enables the continuous investment in its business and employees and it is looking to invest in an IT Service Desk apprentice to support the IT function.
1st line technical support to computer and systems users throughout the company; over the telephone or in person when required.
Install, repair and configure desktop PCs, VOIP phones, laptops, tablets, mobiles, printers, and network equipment.
Resolve technical problems experienced by computer users within the company by provision of technical support in the following areas: Answering telephone calls or responding to support requests via the Service Desk software
£12,000 – £15,000 per annum.
3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
