Description
As part of the long-established Oughtred & Harrison Group, O&H IT services are a 24-hour IT Consultancy based in Hull. Offering IT Support for businesses in a variety of industries, our consultants always take a proactive approach to provide a stable IT infrastructure and a reliable support system. We are looking for an IT Support Apprentice interested in getting their first break in IT to join the team whilst completing the ICT Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification.
Working with customers including onsite work at customers’ premises, you will be trained and undertake duties in the following areas:
– Providing IT support to customers
– Diagnosing problems & faults
– Applying relevant IT security measures
– Using sound process to resolve customer issues
– Communicating well with customers and colleagues
– Network infrastructure ‐ firewalls, routers, cabling etc
Entry requirements:
3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
