This is a NHS Lewisham & Greenwich Trust work experience placement, within the Finance Office in Catford.
Key Details of the Placement:
- 5 day-placement, Mon – Fri
- Between Monday 7th July – Friday 25th July
- 9.30AM – 4.30PM
Tasks Completed During Placement:
| Sessions with the various parts of Finance so that the student can gain varied experience eg. Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Contracting, Business Cases, Capital, Costing etc. Tasks can be arranged in a number of these areas involving work on spreadsheets/accounting systems, shadowing at meetings, site visits to gain understanding of how the finance function interacts with and complements clinical services. |
