This is a NHS Lewisham & Greenwich Trust work experience placement, within the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Medicine Department, within the Day Care Unit.

Key Details of the Placement:

  • 5 day-placement, Mon – Fri
  • Between Monday 30th June – Friday 4th July
  • 8AM – 4.30PM

Tasks Completed During Placement:

  • Will be helping the kitchen hostess with serving patient meals.
  • Assisting with cup of teas and and drinks to patient.
  • Assisting with cleaning up the patient tables.
  • Nurses with supervise the student when communicating with patient.
  • Student will be engaging with patients, communicating, listening if the patients call them and ask for drinks etc.
