This is a NHS Lewisham & Greenwich Trust work experience placement, within the University Hospital Lewisham l Medicine & Community Department.

Key Details of the Placement:

  • 5 day-placement, Mon – Fri
  • Between Monday 30th June – Friday 25th July
  • 7.30AM – 3PM

Tasks Completed During Placement:

  • Working with nurses and HCA.
  • Supervising tasks done such as monitoring patient’s vitals signs and taking their blood sugars.
  • Attending MDT meeting to understand different roles in hospital to know their involvement on patient.
  • Attending ward rounds with Doctors.
  • Observe nursing feeding patient’s safely.
