Join The University of Surrey this summer to experience what it’s like to study a subject you love at university level!

We are offering FREE residential and virtual summer school places for eligible year 12 students in the following subjects:

• Biosciences
• Business
• Engineering
• Law
• Physics with Maths & Space
• Psychology
• Veterinary Medicine

Residential Summer School

• Monday 30^th June – Friday 4^th July 2025.
• 5-days, 4-nights staying on-campus in University accommodation.
• A timetable full of academic sessions on the subject you enjoy most – including hands-on practical workshops, lectures and seminars – all presented by leading Surrey Academics.
• The chance to be a part of a research group with others in your subject to further explore an element of the subject you are most interested in.
• Information and guidance sessions with the Surrey team on preparing for higher education, talking you through everything from student finance to applying to university.
• A range of evening social activities, from bowling to quizzes, to bring everyone together!
• Get to know our team of Student Ambassadors who all are all current Surrey students and can answer all your university questions.

Virtual Summer School

• Monday 14^th July – Friday 18^th July 2025.
• Based entirely online.
• Enjoy exclusive access to our Summer School e-platform and explore a range of on-demand and live content.
• Flexible around other commitments, you will have access to take part in subject specific on demand content presented by leading Surrey Academics, as and when suits you best each day.
• The chance to be part of research group with others in your subject to further explore an element of the subject you are most interested in.
• The Surrey team will host live sessions each afternoon to take you through information sessions on preparing for higher education, talking you through everything from student finance to applying to university.
• A range of evening social activities, from quizzes to wellbeing activities, to bring everyone together!
• Get to know our team of Student Ambassadors who all are all current Surrey students and can answer all your university questions.
