You’ll work within the Onboarding or Ongoing Know Your Customer Teams acting as a subject matter expert for the due diligence of our Business & Commercial Banking clients. Within this role you’ll be responsible for conducting due diligence in line with regulatory standards and their commitments to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

As a Risk Apprentice you’ll need to keep up to date with developments in the industry, share information with teams across the division and provide technical expertise to assess potential and actual risk within client portfolios, to maintain their Group-wide policy requirements and minimum standards.

About the Programme:
Starting in September 2023, you’ll be supported through a Level 3, Compliance and Risk Officer Apprenticeship programme – delivered by their training partner Kaplan and supported by your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Learning Mentor.

Whilst on the Apprenticeship scheme 20% of your time will be dedicated to ‘Mandatory Apprenticeship Hours’ which can include activities such as, shadowing, reading and completing assignments. This means 80% of your role will be applying your learning in the workplace, in a safe environment.

Entry requirements:
GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 4 – 9 (or equivalent qualifications) AND
At least one A level (or equivalent) by September 2023
