Role Overview:
As a Digital Accessibility Analyst Apprentice, you will work alongside HSBC’s experienced team of accessibility professionals, learning to evaluate digital content, platforms, and services to ensure they are accessible and usable for people with disabilities or those users who are neuro diverse. You will develop a deep understanding of digital accessibility standards and best practices, as well as the tools and techniques used to evaluate and improve digital accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating websites, mobile applications, and other digital products for accessibility compliance.
Learn and apply accessibility guidelines and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1).
Support the development and execution of accessibility test plans and test cases.
Document and communicate an accessibility issues and recommendations to project teams.
Collaborate with designers, developers, testers, and product owners to implement accessible solutions.
Participate in ongoing professional development and accessibility training.

Entry Requirements:
96 UCAS points and a minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
Completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship or equivalent, or
An A-Level in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject, or
A BTEC Diploma in IT.

The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London but applicants from across the UK will be considered, as the role offers hybrid working, with two days a week in the office.
