Department Description:
Channel 4 Sport is home of the Paralympics, the British Grand Prix, Super League and live England football. They aim to bring big, distinctive sporting events free to air to audiences all around the UK.

Channel 4 want their sports coverage to be broad, entertaining, and fun they’re always hungry for the next generation of ideas. Channel 4 sport is responsible for acquiring the broadcast rights for sporting competitions and tendering out the contracts to produce the shows. They also play a key role in decision making on talent, form and style of the shows and overseeing all their live sports output. Their biggest challenge on the horizon is the Paralympics in Paris in 2024 and they are determined to make their coverage the best for this amazing event. During your time in the sports team, you’ll get involved in all areas of the work they do and they’ll help you to quickly build up your skills and knowledge of the broadcast industry.

Content Creator Level 3
