Our Apprentices at Thames Water play a key role in our success in delivering life’s essential service to our customers. You will work on projects that shape the future of our business whilst developing your skills to build a successful career.

About the Programme

This is a great opportunity for anybody with a passion for getting things done and looking to start a long career in the Water Industry. It’s a chance to work towards a degree while gaining practical experience in a project management environment, earning while you learn.

You’ll undergo a formal Level 6 apprenticeship in Project Management through workplace learning that will equip you to lead multi-million-pound essential infrastructure projects. You’ll work towards becoming a Project Manager at the end of the programme, where we’ll continue to grow and develop you into our next generation of leaders.

You’ll be working with experienced Project Managers to develop your understanding and application of the Thames Water five-stage process for planning and delivering projects on time and within budget. You’ll maintain and monitor progress and performance and lead analysis to identify and proactively address issues and opportunities to do even better.
