What you’ll be doing:
The two year scheme consists of one year of residential training at the Maintenance Academy situated on Humberside Airport, followed by one year vocational training undertaken at a BAE Systems or RAF site in the UK. The first year is spent working towards your CAT A modules, which is a mix of theory, practical tasks in avionic and mechanical workshops and also time spent on aircraft simulated tasks.
In your second year, you will be placed somewhere within the business, either working on maintaining the aircraft or in a support role.
