About this role:
Throughout your apprenticeship, your role as a data analyst will be to support the Data Team and assure the quality and availability of data to the business. You’ll be there to ensure BT data jobs run smoothly and efficiently and driving automation wherever they can.  On top of that, you’ll collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. They’ll get you involved in managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data. Working across a variety of projects, you’ll help to provide technical data solutions to a range of stakeholders about customers issues. You’ll document and report the results of data analysis activities & ultimately make recommendations to improve business performance.

BT’s Data Team is spread across the UK and comprises of Subject Matter Experts who you will get to learn from every day. It’s a really analytical job and you’ll need an eye for detail, but you’ll always be learning new skills and techniques to really help build your career. If you’ve got some good skills with PowerPoint and Excel, then they would really help with this role. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll be able to help the business make decisions through research and insight – a really critical role.

Entry Requirements:
2 A-Levels with a minimum of CC grades. 5 GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English Language & Maths. Level 3 qualification in IT and or Apprenticeship Level 3, or 1 year experience in related subject.
