Physiotherapist – Surgery & Cancer

Providing rehab to patients in the community following elective joint replacement or post operative orthopaedic trauma surgery.

You will be carrying out three main tasks throughout this work experience opportunity:

• Experiencing working in a multidisciplinary community team – understanding the different roles of each team member
• Developing and practicing communication skills with service users
• Observing how post-operative protocols including rehab exercise programmes are introduced to patients in the early stages of recovery

There is 1 position available for this placement and it will take place between the 10th and 21st of July.
